I'm an aunty again! Samuel Marcus, first child of Kate and Nick, was dragged, if not kicking, then certainly screaming, into the world at 4:30am this morning. All 4.06kg (8lb 15oz) of him. Like his maternal aunts and cousins, young Sam was born by caesarean section, so he has a beautifully shaped head.
And briefly, in other news, Jos, Ky, JD and I all successfully passed our taekwondo gradings today. The boys are now Yellow-3 (7th
gup), I'm now Blue-2 (5th
gup) and JD is now Red-2 (2nd
gup). (White belt is 10th
gup, and
after Red-3 (1st
gup) comes Cho Dan Bo (provisional black belt).)
