Japan: Day 7d - dinner

The boys were cold, tired and hungry, so we went back to the place Em had taken us for lunch on the first day. Using the pictures, and the English language map, we selected our meals and drinks, and were escorted to our table, handing over the coupons as we went.

JD and I enjoyed our beer and grapefruit sour, although Jos was not as enamoured with his soda.
It's the spontaneous pics that are often the best

The food arrived promptly, each dish brought out as it was prepared. In addition to the quickly eaten plate of fried rice, we had a thickened egg soup (I'd already guzzled that), and some shaomai (pork wonton/dim sim type things) yet to come. All up, including drinks, less than Y4500, and the adults at least were uncomfortably full.

The kids felt they needed dessert, so we dropped in at Meida, the supermarket on the way home.

For Y1050, we got two biscotto (ice cream sandwiches), one pupu (we had to try it, just for the name!), and one mandarin sorbet.
Pupu turns out to be just what it shows on the pack - vanilla and chocolate ice cream, encased in a wafer-cone shell.
They also had lemon, sold in a hollowed out lemon skin.
All up, four full, happy people, fed for well under $60. Again.
