Japan: Day 7c - Takeshita Dori, Harajuku

Takeshita street is a laneway lined with various fashion shops.

Although it was a Monday late afternoon, it was pretty busy. We've heard that on weekends, it's jammed tighter than rush-hour trains (the ones they shove you into).
Our target here was the Daiso store, a four-storey Y105 store. Unfortunately, it was all crap, and even the kids couldn't find enough worthy of their Y525 budget.

We saw some other weird stuff along the street, and JD bought a t-shirt, so it wasn't a complete waste.

There were even cutesy fashions for dogs.

You'd think whatever the local version of the RSPCA would be strenuously objecting to this.
None of us had brought jumpers, and as the sun dropped we were all (except JD) feeling the cold. We didn't spot any likely eateries where we were, so we jumped in a cab, and went back to Hiroo.
